from the star of the obama family, michelle obama. you know, this is just like a relay and you start off with the fastest person. so i'm going to be at home and i'm going to be watching it with our girls. and i am going to try not to let them see their daddy cry. because when michelle starts talking, i start getting all misty. >> let's go to our white house correspondent brianna keilar. she's downstairs here in the convention at the time warner cable. what else do we expect the first lady to say tonight? >> wolf, we're really expecting her to stay somewhat on message when it comes to what president obama's campaign is all about. that he's making decisions putting the middle class first. but she's going to be doing it. a source close to her tells me from a very personal place. she'll obviously talk about herself is the person who knows him best, around him at very pivotal moments and she'll talk about how she's seen him make difficult decisions, whether it be health care reform or over the auto bailout. and that she has seen him make these decisions putting the middle class first. tha
. it sounds a little bit like michelle obama's speech when she tried to link policy and the person. so this is also a guy joe biden, the vice president who's beenn on some of these decisions, he had a famous phrase which i guess we can't repeat on television to describe when health care passed. what's interesting about this through the prism of joe biden is this is a man who has not ruled out a 2016 run. so a lot will be looked at in this speech. this has been a man who's been quite loyal to president obama, done him a lot of go ahead. he has gone off the reservation as we say a couple of times. but he has done what they've asked of him. and, you know, the question is what happens next? over the next four years. we saw the powerful speech from bill clinton. and of course if you talked to folks out here after bill clinton last night, who do they all want to ask about? hillary clinton. it sets up a really interesting dynamic of a sitting vice president who's been very loyal to this president and of course hillary clinton who said she doesn't want to run. but certainly joe biden has said
, and i'm sure will, tomorrow, will be saying, man, they have michelle obama, bill clinton, and president obama. i wish we had a murderer's row like that on our side. >> i have to wrap this up. a bit of breaking news we have to pass on to people. thank you, roland and will. as usual. >> you bet. >>> this is cnn breaking newses. >>> ok. now for the breaking news. a u.s. airways flight returns to the airport following a threat. our affiliate wpvi is reporting u.s. airways flight 1267 had already left philadelphia on its way to dallas when a threat was called in involving a passenger carrying an explosive liquid. it happened just after 7:00 eastern this morning. the plane is back on the ground. the plane will now be searched. of course we're going to monitor the situation. if they find anything or even if they don't, of course we'll pass it along to you. but for now, those passengers are pretty much stuck. we'll be right back. >>> 13 minutes past the hour. to money news this morning, one of the keywords used in both political conventions, jobs. this morning, the labor department says 365,000
for the president with all of this talk. you had michelle obama talking about what the president believes in and who he cares about. president clinton explained the past. now it is just ready for barack obama to explain what he will do in the future. if this convention has a rhythm, it has a direction, it has an excitement. i think it is great, and i think i can't predict whether there will be a big bounce after it, but i would bet the predicate for a gradual ascension of the democratic ticket in november. >> every american did not watch it, though. >> unfortunately. >> my question would be do they take what bill clinton did in some ways sort of prof sorrial. >> the scene, and you go to black churches and they go preach, baby, preach, to the minister. this is teach, baby, teach. he was teaching america. >> does he take that on the road literally with a white board and says you have heard about medicare. here. >> i talked to him. >> here is the facts, here is what's really going on. >> i talked to the president before the speech for quite a bit, and first he put a lot of effort into it. it sounded li
